God, knowing and desiring community for and with us, supplied us with family, both biological and spiritual. When we embrace Christ as Savior and Lord, not only does the relationship provide us with forgiveness and eternal hope, but it also provides us with an unparalleled friendship—friendship with God himself. He escorts us from loneliness and into a community unlike any other: the family of God.
