Strong relationships are one of the core pillars of a fulfilled and aligned life. These connections take work and showing up for those around you. By approaching relationships with a sense of service, seeing how you can help, rather than looking out for yourself, you will ultimately feel more fulfilled and live in abundance. Chris Winfield, our guest today, has founded his business on this principle, aiming to help one person every day. As the ‘Super Connector’, Chris’ work involves connecting people in ways they may not have thought of themselves. He is a serial entrepreneur, best known for his PR agency, Super Connector Media, and his events, Unfair Advantage Live. In this episode, we learn more about Chris’s unconventional PR journey. Rather than going to school for it, he leveraged his natural superpower of having great relationships and forging connections, to start his company. It was not without its challenges. Chris shares his struggles with addiction and how he eventually came out on top. He reminds us that no matter how ‘perfect’ someone’s life may appear, we all go through struggles because each of us is human. Through sharing our challenges and being vulnerable, we can soften and connect. Chris also talks about the importance of community and having people to bounce your ideas off of, why he decided to meet up with one person every day to see how he could help them, and some of the lessons he is learning from the coronavirus crisis. Chris was a great guest, and we were honored to have him on the show. Be sure to tune in today!
