On this episode we discuss the power of influence we have within our homes. We influence our spouse and children on a daily basis by our actions and words.

Troy shares how I influenced him when I chose to go to Celebrate Recovery to seek help and how that made him self reflect and ultimately how it saved our marriage. And while we were in a tough season and as I learned what a healthy marriage actually looked liked I realized I was not kind with the way I spoke to my husband and even though that was what I saw growing up, does not make it right. Wives we need to uplift and encourage our husbands and husbands we need to uplift and encourage our wives. 

As a parent we have a huge influence in our children's lives. For 18 years they will watch us, listen to us, and emulate us. Children are going to do what we do, and not what we say. Not only do we influence our children's growth as an individual, but we also have an influence on what they will look for in a spouse when they grown up. So think about it, what have you taught your son or daughter today by your actions to look for in a future spouse? Be mindful of what you are teaching your children and how you are influencing them. Our influence can change the atmosphere of our homes.
