Hola mi gente, I hope you are doing well! As always I have missed you, we are going to finish off this fall semester and go on our well-deserved winter break. I am still finalizing my PhD apps and having breakdowns here and there. Pero it is these moments that have inspired this solo episode. First-gen have the hustle, resilience, and dedication to pursue their academic and personal dreams. However, many of us have been in positions where we strongly feel as if we have to do it alone. You don't have too and through mentorship with a mentor who aligns with your aspirations and showcases representation, it makes a difference.
