Now, I thought today would be the perfect time to share an interview I had with Nina Hjortlund, someone I truly believe is nothing less than a modern day hero.

I was deeply inspired by the work she is doing over in Africa, her savvy business networking tactics, running two companies and her overall attitude to life, despite having to work remotely from Perth since the pandemic started.

Nina also discusses the joys and difficulties of raising two neurodiverse children.

Nina Hjortlund is the Founding Director and CEO for Australia for Cedar Tanzania, a registered non-for-profit funding project’s in rural Tanzania. From building a hospital, creating mobile medical outreach services for people with disabilities, support programs for the youth, prevention of violence against women and HIV/AIDS, plus many more important skills based services, they are creating immense change in their community.
