What's the Temp?

The Power of No

Listen Later

There are two subjects they don’t teach in school that you have to learn as an adult: personal finance and… BOUNDARIES. Jen has an established pattern of inviting people into her life, with no credentials needed, and then harboring resentments when they inadvertently violate her nonexistent boundaries. Betina’s MO was to say nothing for the first few transgressions, then to explode in a way where the punishment didn’t fit the crime. Today’s discussion explores the concept of boundaries not as black and white but as fluid, circumstantial, and always evolving.
