The Power of One 

John 17:20 – 23

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

One Church

We are ONE!!!  We, Victory, are one church. 

Good, Bad & Ugly

We are only as strong as our weakest link. 

Brownwood is one with Victory Life Church. 

You are you, and we are us, but we are one!!! 

One Church. The Capital C church is made up of  ones (1st Peter 2:4,5  The church/us are kings and priests) 

Never underestimate the power of ONE – you 

1 Corinthians 12:12 (The body is one but many members) 

1 Corinthians 12:22 (The less needed you feel, the more you’re needed)

There’s No “I” in team! But there are 3 “I”’s in Individual, and teams are made up of individuals! 

STEP UP

The team often needs ONE to step up 

Ex. David against Goliath 

Ex. David’s mighty men (Adino killed 800 men w/spear) 

Ex. Some having compassion “Making a difference” (Jude 22) 

2nd Cor. 1:3- 11 “You and your prayers…” 

*Changing the world is just too overwhelming. So, just change your world. 

Ex. Nehemiah rebuilding the wall: Every” ONE” did what they could do. 

How to make a difference as one! 

Show up  (Do something) Ex. Workdays 

Understand you and God are a majority 

God uses what you have 

Moses’ rod (Exodus 4:2 “What is that in your hand?”

The widow’s jar of oil (2nd Kings 4:2 “Tell me what you have in your house”) 

Woman’s faith (Mark 5:33) 

Ministry is where God’s provision meets the needs of humanity!!
