The power of partnership is strong. Have you thought of starting a new venture WITH a partner? Together, Joanne and Natalie are partners in The Garden Journey, a company whose mission is to create objects of beauty that help people experience nature’s mysteries as a portal to reconnection with themselves. Joanne shares that neither of them thinks they could have launched this company on their own.
Joanne is a tech executive and botanical illustrator living in New York. Her 15-year career includes time spent at Google, where she helped launch multiple new products as well as leading global relationships with key clients like P&G and Coca-Cola. She received an MBA from INSEAD in 2009 and continued her studies at the New York Botanical Garden, from where she received an honors certificate in botanical illustration in 2020.
Natalie is a multidisciplinary creative director and designer based in NY and FL. Driven by both strategy and emotion, her work’s cornerstone is a deliberate, collaborative process. Her varied career path has spanned marketing, communications, editorial, and teaching, all of which she brings into her creative process. Recent clients include West Elm, Soapply, M. Gemi, Cedar Lakes Estate. She graduated from Amherst College in 2006 and completed independent studies in design at SVA and The Cooper Union.
