After being hospitalized for a month due to a complicated surgery that resulted in a blood infection, Sonia Flunder-Mcnair turned to food and the power of herbs to regain her health. She's been advocating for others to do the same though a health, community based, grassroots initiative called Urban Wholistics, created to beautify open land in neighborhoods that have been historically excluded from access to holistic green spaces.
