The Tabernacle that David had pitched is what the Bible calls the Tabernacle of David. It is a tabernacle that hosts the presence of God.
2 Samuel 6:14-15
"14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might, and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet."
God wants to commune with us, to have fellowship with us. He desires to walk among us so we must create a place for Him. When we believe in God, the Holy Spirit lives in us. We become the temple of the Holy Spirit. We then carry the power of God, the presence of God, and the Holy Spirit. We become God's moving Tabernacle as we host His presence.
Now that we are the temples of God, we carry the power and the glory of God; how does God want us to offer sacrifices?
The Lord wants you to stand as a priest unto God. A priest who is not offering bulls and goats and sheep but offers daily sacrifices of praise and worship to God. Not complaining, not grumbling, not murmuring but praising the Lord. Praising Him in the good and in the bad times like David. (Psalm 34) Bless The Lord At All times. When we do that we are rebuilding the tabernacle.
Before David pitched this tabernacle, he dances and praises. The key to your breakthrough as a child of God is learning to praise and rejoice in God at all times. Your praise is a sacrifice to God. Your praise and your worship is a sweet-smelling sacrifice that causes the presence of God to come down. Psalm 2:3 the Bible says, He is The God Who inhabits the Praises of His people.
David was different from all the other kings because he was able to operate in three anointings; he was a prophet, a priest and he was a king. God used him as a type of what the church would be because the Bible calls us Kings and priests. As priests, we are the ones that are to stand at the altar and initiate communication with Heaven.
God is rebuilding the Tabernacle of David and He's going to use you and me that wherever we are, we pitch the Tabernacle of David Hallelujah! You walk into that house and you lift your praise and create an atmosphere for God to dwell.
No matter your past, your present, or the battles you face, choose to raise a tabernacle of praise. Hallelujah!
