In the 13th episode of the Set Apart Podcast, we invite Oscar’s friend, Pastor Craig Carlisle. Oscar and Pastor Craig met over 10 years ago through a mutual friend, Pastor Derek Allen. The day they met, Pastor Craig promised to pray for Oscar moving forward. Oscar didn't think much of it, as it's something people normally say. However, later that month, on the 23rd at 8 AM, Oscar received a text message saying, “Good morning Oscar, can I pray for you today?”
Oscar was surprised and reminded by Pastor Craig of his promise to pray for him. Pastor Craig explained that he has a prayer calendar and prays for many men, most of whom are pastors.
For 10 years, Pastor Craig has been praying for Oscar, his family, and his company. The prayers have evolved over the years, and Pastor Craig has had a front-row seat to see everything that God has done in Oscar's life.
In this episode, Pastor Craig discusses why he decided to create this prayer calendar, the difficulties of maintaining it, and what he has witnessed through this ministry. Pastor Craig prays for almost 700 men on a daily basis.
