Every parent’s worst nightmare is something happening to their child, and that’s exactly what happened to Granger and his wife Amber in 2019 when their 4-year-old son River, drowned in a pool accident.

We talk with Granger about the despair he experienced through this traumatic ordeal but also, the redemption and purpose he experienced through his walk with the Lord.  This led him to leave his successful career as a country music star and pursue what is his true calling, which is to share God’s word with others.

His best-selling book, “Like a River,” chronicles not only his journey through grief, but also about him truly finding his faith, hope, and ultimately, finding peace after his world was turned upside down.
