Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday; it's an opportunity to reflect on God's goodness in your life every day. God wants you to remember today the power available to you in giving Him thanks in all things. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) How recognizing His goodness opens your eyes to His presence all around you. God, Himself will remind you of the many blessings you'll receive when you give Him thanks.

Thanksgiving has immense power! God demonstrates how expressing gratitude for His good grace in all He has done, is doing now, and will do in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead convinces you that every facet of your life is constantly knit together for good. (1 Chronicles 16:34, Romans 8:28)

Thanksgiving originates from God empowering your life by freely extending His favor toward you to bestow a blessing on you. So, God the Father is the object of thanksgiving, God the Son is the person through whom thanksgiving flows, and God the Holy Spirit is the source of thanksgiving.
