Looking at the word Unity" reveals a very important aspect of God's love for His church. We learnt that unity is necessary for the power of God to flow in our churches. God chose the Church among many things to be a shield against principalities, spiritual wickedness, the power of darkness etc. Hence, the power of Unity is a key to dismantle any plots of division that the enemy may throw at the church. He continued by saying that The Unity between The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit is a perfect example of what the church should be.
