The pull of Christ's love is so much greater than the pull of sin.  And it's God's kindness that leads us to repentance, not the fear of His wrath.

The truth is that God no longer has an appetite to punish sin.  Jesus already received God's punishment for ALL sin, bringing justice.   Therefore, when we choose to sin, sin brings its own punishment.
