Peter was invited to stay in the house of Cornelius in Joppa, it is here where Peter had a divine experience. I encourage you to read Acts chapter 11 what a wonderful passage of scripture is Chapter 11. It is a passage that you and I should be mighty thankful for, after all, if not for this passage, we who are from non-Jewish backgrounds would not be in the church today.
