Earlier this afternoon, the Presidency launched the multi-sectoral Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) Fund. This Fund is aimed at supporting the implementation of the National Strategic Plan (NSP), and the wider GBVF response in the country. Thus far, the Ford Foundation has pledged R20 million to the Response Fund.
