In this film, where James Coburn plays the psychiatrist to the President, but then finds himself the target of several other powers-that-be on the world stage that consider him to be an important asset. But ultimately he discovers the true power above all else is 'Ma Bell'... "the phone company" that provided all telephone communications across the nation at the time of the film (1968).
