This price, that was an overpayment, is the only reason you and I have a chance to enter the gates of heaven. This price, that no gold or silver could buy, is the reason why death was defeated. This price, that cost Jesus his life, is the reason why the devil is working overtime to steal souls. Do not let this free gift be thrown in the wind. He died for you, knowing all the sins you were and are going to commit, yet, he still chose to lay down his life for you. He chose to free you from the bondage of sin so that you may have the chance to spend life after death with him.
