Pride quickly became a problem with Adam and Eve in the beginning of mankind. We are all prideful by nature. Most of the time pride is the motivation that will get us all into trouble. Mat 23:12 Pride can not be in the same room as God. Some think that we have higher rights than another, smarter than another. There is not a single person that smarter than the next nor is there a single person that doesn't struggle with pride. Pride hinders the church from growth, pride stops the humbling towards God. Gods ways are unknown as well as His thoughts. We will never understand Gods thought process so why do we choose to think we know what's best in others and our lives? Pride. As long as pride rules in your life, long suffering, love, compassion and humbling will never have its place in your life. At times, we look at others and get a form of excitement because someone else is having a rough time and we feel as if they deserve it. You'll never love God until you give up on yourself.
