Living in America, we are to believe, “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave”. History, however, tells us different about who has the ability to be free without the unbiases of America (specifically, white Americans) imposing what already old, conventional racist infrastructure and ways towards the marginalized communities. These topics will be in a range from incarcerated people having the right to vote, racial discriminatory history of our constitution working against disenfranchised, marginalized communities. The in-depth conversation is to make us look at the way we see freedom for whites, liberty for non-whites. It would be appropriate what the history of freedom looks like and what is the contextual definition of liberty outside of what the dictionary says.
