Why do we lie? It seems like we live in a culture of dishonesty, and the fact is, lying is a part of human nature. The book of Jeremiah says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it?” The problem of sin is in the heart, and our hearts are inherently selfish. Thankfully, God gives us a picture of how we can live with honesty rather than deceit!
