I’d much prefer to be “convinced” than “persuaded”. Most people would loosely interchange the two but they are entirely different (I daresay those who do so are lazy). I will not attempt to give a lesson on writing (I’m not an authority) but the distinction is that “persuasion” leads to action (often regrettable like being tricked) and “convincement” is limited to the mind (often undoubtable as it satisfies logic and reason).
