Barnett is the author of six different books, 3 of which have become Amazon best-sellers; Invest Local, Franchise Warnings and How to Sell My Own Business.  

Barnett has been working with small businesses for the past 20 years and likes to say that it took him 10 years to un-learn what business school taught him about how things are really done in the business world.

He currently works with entrepreneurs around the world and helps them buy and sell businesses privately as a transaction advisor and helps buyers and sellers improve businesses to maximize their value before or after a transaction.   

He has 2 young children and has adapted his consulting business to maximize his time with the kids since their childhood is his priority right now.
