The old way of training your dog was to watch them like a hawk, correct everything they do, and never relax because you have to be in charge.

That is not the way I teach my dogs or have my clients work with theirs. 

There is a better way to teach your dog what you want them to do that has nothing to do with stopping them over and over again with the hope that they eventually catch on.
