Imagine making a film about inspired by your “coming of age” story. Gets you a little nervous right? The idea of your family and community watching parts of your life and mind in such an intimate way; it’s an incredibly brave act, one that requires a lot of decision making, intention, and just great storytelling. Writer and Director Minhal Baig did that with Her feature film Hala. And it was so good - it was even the first feature selected for Apple TV+.
