Jonah's Supernatural Timeout:

• Jonah's disobedience led to a series of downward spirals: going down to Joppa, down into the ship, and finally, down into the belly of the fish.

Jonah's Prayer from the Belly of the Fish:

• In the depths of his despair, Jonah finally prays, recognizing his weakness and human frailty.

Repentance and Thanksgiving:

• Jonah's journey inside the fish teaches us about the importance of repentance. Even after initial salvation, believers need to continually turn back to God.
