Summer 1987. The Rialto Theater in Millbrook, Vermont, was a single-screen time capsule showing last-run double features to anyone desperate enough to sit through the humidity. Luna's cousin Nora worked the concession stand and told her about the nights when the projector would run on its own after close. The film was always the same—a 16mm reel no one remembered ordering, showing a house on a hill that got closer with each screening. By the time the manager found the projectionist's notebook, the last entry read: 'It sees me now.'
