Things to note:

- A promise is only as reliable as the one who made it. 

- When God made a promise, because of His person, it cannot fail.

There are two types of promises;

1. Unconditional promise: 

2. Conditional promise

- it is subject to certain requirements. 

- There are steps to take and things to do. 

(Romans 10:9, Genesis 17:1-2)

Why we dont receive what we asked for"

1. When we misunderstand His will for our life.

2. Unconfessed and unrepented sin that create barriers in our relationship with God.

3. Our inability to engage in spiritual warfare.

Things to note

1. God is truthful. Titus 1:1-2

2. God is faithful. Hebrew 10:23 (NLT)

3. God never changes. Malachi 3:6

4. God is able.
