Sermon Text: 1 Corinthians 15:12–26

Main Idea: The believer’s resurrection is forever secured in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I. The Devastating Results of Denying the Resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:12–19)

 A. If there is no resurrection, then Christ has not been raised.

 B. If Christ has not been raised, the gospel is utterly absurd.  

II. The Glorious Results that Jesus’ Resurrection Secures (1 Corinthians 15:20–26)

A. Jesus’ resurrection is a sign that our resurrection is certain

B. Jesus’ resurrection is a sign that he conquered Adam’s curse 

C. Our resurrection will occur when Jesus returns in glory
