This Sunday, Pastor Josh brought a powerful word in his message, “The Promise Still Stands.” What if we truly believed that the same Spirit who filled the early church is still available to us today? As we reflect on the power of Pentecost, we’re reminded that apart from Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. Just as Jesus lived in total dependence on the Father, we’re invited to live the same way. He ascended so the Spirit could come, giving us continual access to His presence and power. This is an invitation to live with dependence, hunger, and a deep desire for more of God.
