The Promise, The Price and the Practice of Your Fresh Start

I know that God has called us into a year of favour, and that this favour follows the fresh start that God has for us RIGHT NOW!

1. The PROMISE of your FRESH START

Zechariah 10:1 NLT

Ask the Lord for rain in the spring,

for he makes the storm clouds.

And he will send showers of rain

so every field becomes a lush pasture.

Zechariah 10:6 MSG

“I’ll put muscle in the people of Judah; I’ll save the people of Joseph. I know their pain and will make them good as new. They’ll get a fresh start, as if nothing had ever happened. And why? Because I am their very own God, I’ll do what needs to be done for them. The people of Ephraim will be famous, their lives brimming with joy. Their children will get in on it, too— oh, let them feel blessed by God!

God has a pattern of bringing favourinto the lives of His Fresh Start People.

Your Fresh Start is on its way…You are the Fresh start people of God!

2. The PRICE of your FRESH START

Every Fresh Start has a fresh fee…

This is the time for us to count the cost..and prepare for favour, prepare for blessing…..make room for more in our lives.

Luke 14:33 MSG

“Simply put, if you’re not willing to take what is dearest to you, whether plans or people, and kiss it good-bye, you can’t be my disciple.

Luke 22:42 TPT

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup of agony away from me. But no matter what, your will must be mine.”

Significant steps come at significant cost…

Your fresh start is on the other side of your surrender.

For a fresh start in my marriage, I have had to pay the price of time, attention, intentionality

For a fresh start with my health I have to pay the price of an early morning

For a fresh start in my relationship with Jesus I have had to pay the price of time reading the bible

For a fresh start in my emotional health I have had to pay the price of committing to my life group

For a fresh start in our church I have had to pay the price of leadership

3. The PRACTICE of your FRESH START?

“I have believed the promise, I have paid the price….How do I LIVE/PRACTICE a FRESH START LIFE

A lesson in Practising your FERSH START in 3 easy steps….

Step 1 is a yes to the fresh start catalyst and His name is Jesus.

Step 2 is a yes to the fresh start community which is Jesus’ church

Step 3 is a yes to the fresh start calling which is Jesus’ mission for you!

If you want to live, in the FRESH START FAVOUR of God…..then a daily, Yes to Jesus, a daily commitment to community and a daily response to God’s call on your life, is the practice that will keep you there.

The FAVOUR on YOUR life is for the revival of OTHERS… PSALM 72:6 TPT says God's favour will fall on YOUR life - BUT it REVIVES the ENTIRE earth!!
