Sam Fahmi from Massive Report stops by (and by that I mean I crashed his recording) to talk Crew soccer and how he became a Crew fan/photographer.
Hey folks. Matt here. I've kinda wrestled with whether should I put a tag on the beginning of this show addressing Jim's passing and for this week I've elected not to. I've recorded it and re-recorded it a few times and I'm not saying what I want to say.
With that said the show is back. Should be a bi-weekly format for a while here with a rotating series of guests. This week it's Morgan Hughes!
New intro and music coming next week as well. Thanks for sticking with us!
Well Crew 2 went and won the whole dang thing.
Crew 1 are out and so is Caleb.
Man real life has gotten in the way of our silly soccer podcast. Sorry about that. Here's a short episode to tide ya over.
Crew still have a shot at the playoffs.
Crew 2 played lights out against Toronto!
We'll be back next week with a normal size one.
Missed last week due to work, back at it again this week.
We didn't see any ghosts this week, but boy were the lights low. Some might say it was romantic, but honestly it was just creepy.
That put us in the right mood to preview Hell is Real leg 2, ask the important burning questions like Who's gonna stop Philly? and thank our new sponsor Wegners Grocery.
In this one we break down the Crew match and then kinda go off the rails about branding and marketing for like 30 minutes.
... so a normal episode.
So some lady at the Roger Waters show found the wooden spoon Matt hid in the NWA sign before Hell is Real and he found out during recording. He was less than pleased.
Things discussed:
Crew beats NYC
The playoff push/home team push
All star games suck!
Denver preview
We're back at Ruby's this week where Matt is now 100% sure the basement is haunted.
Topics discussed this week.
Maybe we don't run the entire offence through 2 players.
The weather.
More of the weather.
Stupid lightning.
... that's about it.
Well Jimmy got no sleep last night so it's a bit of a loopy one. We talk about the draw v NE, the Open Cup and preview our first match in Charlotte ever.
