Christ is the central person in the Bible. Calvary is the central place in the Bible. Everything that happened in the Old Testament, in some way, points forward to Christ and the Cross. Everything that happens in the New Testament after the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ points us back to Christ and His Cross.
In Psalm 22, we see a vivid description of the sufferings of Christ on the cross at Calvary written hundreds of years before it was fulfilled.
