'Left To My Own Devices' was produced by Trevor Horn, a very influential 80's producer who was also one half of The Buggles ('Video Killed The Radio Star')
'Always On My Mind' was originally written and released in 1972 by Brenda Lee. Elvis Presley made it famous in 1973. In 1987, the Petties performed a version on a network television special commemorating the tenth anniversary of Presley's death. Their performance of was so well-received that the group decided to record and release a version as a single, and that became the UK's Christmas Number 1 that year
