In a society that makes us conscious of the differences we have, we as Black Women know in the work place we are like moving targets. But the reality is we often sign a psychological contract where we subconsciously and/or consciously at a disadvantage to make others feel comfortable. Where do we draw the line and terminate this false belief that our discomfort is the required sacrifice for the benefit of others, others who do not consider us worthy of the freedom to operate freely from the burden of considering everyone else other than ourselves.
