One of the fundamental objectives of any business is to make profits and this happens by selling, but not so many people have been able to sell as much as they would love to.


Our guest this week, (Sola Mathew) a coach, author and digital media strategist, takes us on a journey to understanding how to better sell.


The wrong mindset about selling, poor communication about the product and lack of quality products are some of the challenges that hinder people from selling.


He advised that everyone that intends to increase sales must have a mindset orientation and must be well-informed, to help with this, he recommended several books. 


He stressed that listening is an integral part of communication, so to better communicate with intending customers, one must employ various listening tools such as surveys etc.


While communication and mindset orientation are very important, understanding who the customer is may be the most important thing that helps sales. Sola took us through the process of creating a customer avatar.
