The pukwudgie, a type of cryptid from the Wampanoag culture, is a creature with human-like characteristics that stands less than three feet tall. They can vanish into thin air or appear to resemble a porcupine, amongst many other special characteristics. Although they used to be friendly with humans, something happened over time that led pukwudgies to change their ways. What caused this shift in behavior?
