The Puppet Show / Nightmares

In the 9th episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the gang is forced to participate in the school talent show thanks to the new principal, Snyder. Stage fright is the least of their concerns though as someone is harvesting students' organs. Could an inanimate dummy be to blame?
