What does a Pure Land look like? The first of three talks from Manchester Buddhist Centre’s July 2014 Sangha retreat in Derbyshire

Ratnaguna brings the Pure Lands to life.

The retreat focussed on evoking the Buddha Amitabha and his Buddha-field, and aimed to stimulate many aspects of ourselves – the rational, imaginal, mysterious and archetypal – qualities necessary for a rich and fulfilling spiritual life.

As the talk, and the retreat, was for Centre regulars who have completed a second level Buddhism course here, Ratnaguna is addressing people with existing knowledge of Buddhism.
