Sasha observes that the brittle silver foil is turning to Fine Grey Powder, contrasting sharply with the bells. Barnaby discovers that a sickly green, cold moss is creeping in from beneath the floorboards, indicating the resonance sink is active nearby and attempting to neutralize the pure materials. They race to collect the bells before the moss contaminates them. As they secure the bells, a violent shudder rocks the shed, suggesting the resonance field is aware of their find and is actively trying to destroy the storage location.
