At today’s Interactive Midweek Service, Pastor Colins Nwosu shared a teaching titled “The Purpose Driven Life,” continuing the theme from Sunday’s message by our Senior Pastor that Purpose is the Cure for Inner Emptiness. The session was rich with insight, drawing on contributions from Pastor Femi Paul and also active participation from the congregation. Together, we explored how living with divine purpose helps us overcome the void that often plagues the human soul, especially in a world driven by distractions and shallow pursuits.
Referencing John 4:34, Ecclesiastes 5:10, Luke 2:49, and Matthew 4:4, Pastor Colins emphasised that purpose gives meaning to our daily lives and aligns us with God’s plan. As Jesus was driven by doing the Father’s will, we too must embrace a life that is spiritually intentional. The conversation reminded everyone that inner emptiness cannot be filled by material things but by living out the assignment God placed in our hearts.
