Jaron Hoffman preaches on Proverbs 1:1-7 teaching us that the purpose of Proverbs is to bring its hearers to an intimate relationship with wisdom (v. 2) through instruction in wise dealing (v. 3) which is aimed at giving prudence to the simple (v. 4) and increase the learning of the wise (v. 5) by understanding the proverb and its meaning through careful study and consideration (v. 6) and all of this is dependent upon rightly fearing the LORD (v. 7).
