This past Sunday, we celebrated the launch of our new venue at Adventure Church in Tinley Manor. Marcus and Adele Herbert from Cornerstone Church, who serve on the NCMI Apostolic Team, joined us and brought a message challenging us to adopt a “battleship” mindset rather than functioning as a complacent “ocean liner.” They highlighted how Jesus trained His disciples to be outward-focused, ready for “holy interruptions,” and reliant on the Holy Spirit when sharing the gospel.

Drawing parallels to the way Jesus went out of His way to reach hurting individuals, Marcus and Adele encouraged us to look beyond ourselves, serve faithfully, and embrace our role in building God’s Kingdom. Their words reminded us that the church is meant to be an active force, prepared to carry hope into every corner of society.
