The PurposeGirl Podcast Episode 077: Burning Man and Being Your Ideal Self

Listen Later

A few days before recording this I got back from a week at Burning Man. If you're unfamiliar with Burning Man, here's their brief description: "Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in Nevada's Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance. In this crucible of creativity, all are welcome."

One of the most amazing aspects of Burning Man is how everyone is encouraged to show up as their authentic self, whatever that may be, and it's truly liberating and exhilarating! In today's episode I use the phenomenon that is Burning Man to discuss the psychological concepts of the actual self versus the ideal self and my own journey to live my ideal self more fully.

It would really mean a lot to me if you would go to Apple Podcasts and leave me a review (hopefully a great one!), leave a 5 star rating, subscribe to this podcast so you never miss an episode, and download the episodes! And please spread the word and help our community grow!
