The Stonewall Riots spark the “coming out” movement and the formation of large LGBTQ rights organizations. However, myths surrounding Stonewall still exist today and have affected how media depicts this historical event. In this episode we discuss both the 1995 and 2015 movies named Stonewall and the real political history behind this legendary moment.
