You have been given free will to help you learn and evolve while adding individuality and by giving you choices. The individual choices that you make and the intent behind the choices you make will further define who you are.

Free will is the idea that we are able to have some choice in how we act and assumes that we are free to choose our behavior, in other words we are self determined or at least some believe that!
