It is clear that a sustained series of Islamist attacks against the West is causing a form of reciprocal extremism. In other words, a series of terrorist attacks coming from one direction can cause a series of terrorist attacks to come from the opposite direction. This is not unlike Newton's third law of motion which is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. And make no mistake. It is happening.
