The Raid 2 (Indonesian: The Raid 2: Berandal or Serbuan Maut 2: Berandal, lit. 'Thug' Japanese: ザ・レイド Gokudo, lit. 'Gangster')[4][5][6] is a 2014 Indonesian martial arts action–crime drama film written, directed and edited by Welsh filmmaker Gareth Evans. It is the sequel to his 2011 film The Raid.
The film was released on 28 March 2014. It follows special forces officer Rama as he is sent undercover to expose the corrupt police officials colluding with the crime families of Jakarta's criminal underworld.
