1 Kings 18:1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
Most Christians in America today have altered the commands of God to a new form of religion and have denied, restrained, and resisted the power of the Holy Ghost in the churches and in their lives. This response to God’s Word is the absolute reason for the wicked condition and state of America and the world today. Many self professing believers in God and Jesus Christ are riding the imaginary fence of idleness. There is a great turning away of the truth.
The truth being in 1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
The majority in Christianity today shrug those words of truth off when spoken. The Church has been altered from a godly people to a people of compromise and tolerance. The church has changed and the fire is gone. There is a famine of the Word of truth. There is a famine of the rivers of life. The drought has gone on for to long now and the time has come for a stand off. The must be a great stand off given by the true believers and followers of Jesus Christ. The time has come for separation of those who are willing to give up all and pick up their cross and actually follow Jesus Christ in truth and in deed in contrast to those who refuse the truth and have defiled the things of God.
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The Church of Jesus Christ has absolutely no excuses to give to the Lord for the condition of our society to. We are not victims of the enemy. We have turned the other cheek to sin and have even compromised our convictions out of our pride and our wants in this life.
Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Why are we so comfortable with the condition of the Church today? Why are we not hungry for the outpouring of the Holy Ghost? Why are we not seeking the God that we claim to serve? The Church of Jesus Christ has been altered in every way from its original state.
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Today’s Church is not in one accord! Their not in agreement! There is division and backbiting!

And there was a sore famine in Samaria. 3 And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly: 4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
5 And Ahab said unto Obadiah, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive, that we lose not all the beasts. 6 So they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself. 7 ¶ And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art thou that my lord Elijah? 8 And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here. 9 And he said, What have I sinned, that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?
